Locals Know Best
Each week, we feature a few local Bel Air & Harford County experts sharing quick, practical advice to make your life a little easier — straight from the people who know this community best.
Digital Marketing
Hi, I’m Madison Hardiman, owner of Hardiman Marketing here in Harford County. My team helps local businesses turn their ideas into impact through strategy, storytelling, and creativity. We specialize in social media management and professional photo + video, taking marketing off your plate so you can focus on running your business.
Local Tip: Spring and summer sneak up fast — and once things get busy, marketing is usually the first thing pushed aside. If you run a local business, now’s the perfect time to map out your promotions, content, and offers before the rush hits.
And if marketing always ends up on your to-do list instead of getting done, it might be time to hand off the reins and take something off your plate. Partnering with a local team like Hardiman Marketing can help you stay visible and consistent while you focus on running the business.
Special Offer: As a thank-you to Bel Air Brief readers, Hardiman Marketing is offering a no-pressure way to experience how we work… Bel Air Brief readers who reach out and mention the newsletter will receive two free static social media posts — created for your business, at no cost and no obligation. It’s a simple way to see our style, strategy, and quality before deciding on anything further.

Date Spot Of The Week
Steelefish Grille (Bel Air)
📍 660 Boulton St, Bel Air, MD 21014
Editor’s Note: If you’ve been on Facebook as much as I have this week (doubtful), you may have seen the rumors that Steelefish Grille is closing — those rumors are false, according to owner David Steele. So let’s show some love, because this Bel Air staple is very much open and leaning hard into Valentine’s Day in the best way possible.
Steelefish Grille is rolling out a lineup of Valentine’s specials that feels indulgent without being over-the-top. We’re talking lobster bisque with white truffle croutons, clams casino loaded with applewood smoked bacon, and a standout chicken and crab imperial served over creamy Delmarva risotto. Seafood lovers can go all-in on the saffron seafood stew, finished with jumbo lump crab and garlic crostini — rich, comforting, and perfect for a cold February night.
Finish things on a sweet note with their chocolate-dipped long stem strawberries and you’ve got the kind of dinner that actually feels like a Valentine’s date, not just a meal out. Cozy, classic, and done right — Steelefish is a great reminder of why it’s been part of the Bel Air dining scene for years.
Thanks for reading the Bel Air Brief today. Share it with someone who is done with snow for the year.
