Date Spot Of The Week
Natalie’s Seafood Kitchen (Fallston)
📍 2315 Belair Road, Unit B2, Fallston, Maryland 21047
If your idea of a perfect Friday night involves fresh Chesapeake seafood, a lively tiki-bar vibe, and a cocktail that actually makes you stop and say "wait, what's in this?" — Natalie's needs to be on your radar.
Chef Zack Trabbold (Baltimore Magazine's Best Chef three years running, Restaurant Association's Chef of the Year in '23) is doing something special here: serious, thoughtful cooking in a space that never takes itself too seriously. The menu reads like a love letter to the Bay — Stuffed Flounder with crab imperial, Drunken Crab Balls with a house-made hot honey drizzle, cast iron-seared Dayboat Scallops over pimento grits — but there's also a Braveheart flat iron, a legitimately great cheesesteak, and a Shore Pot boil for two if you're feeling festive.
On the drinks side, their house Crush list alone is worth the trip — over ten flavors, including a Cucumber Crush and Key Lime that are way better than they have any right to be. The Jersey Girl (watermelon vodka, elderflower, fresh mint) is a warm-weather staple, and if you're a rye person, the Charm City Sour with Sagamore is a must.
It gets lively on weekends — live music most nights — so it's not the spot for a whispered, candlelit dinner. But if you want somewhere that feels like a great night out the moment you walk in, Natalie's delivers.
